Hello, I'm Kimberly Costa.

I started this little Cucu studio with my husband, Patrick, (who's also a little cucu) in October 2007.

We met at the School of Visual Arts where we both majored in Animation and dabbled in the NY Animation scene for a while. We got an itch to try a little more than just animation and so decided to take matters into our own hands. Sort of.

The idea behind Cucu Design was to bring a small group of people together from all sorts of backgrounds to offer a sensible solution to small companies and individuals. Since we're a small studio ourselves, we identify most with these individuals and small companies who want to get up and running as well. We strive to keep it simple and get things done! With this mindset, we've been able to tackle projects big and small and really enjoy the challenge.

Why Cucu? I don't know. We bought ourselves a cuckoo clock that year for our honeymoon and I love it so much it made sense. Patrick got to name the cuckoo bird. His name is Norman and he's still ticking.
